Paragraphs, Line Breaks (br), and Horizontal Rules (hr)

Effective typography is essential for readable technical documentation. HTML provides dedicated elements for block paragraphs, soft breaks, and thematic section breaks.

1. The Paragraph Tag: <p>

Paragraphs are block-level elements that automatically introduce vertical margin separation:

<p>
    Devify documentation is crafted for software engineers who want clear,
    production-ready tutorials without fluff.
</p>

2. Soft Line Breaks: <br>

The <br> tag inserts a single line break without creating a new paragraph block:

<p>
    Acme Software Corporation<br>
    742 Evergreen Terrace<br>
    Springfield, OR 97477
</p>

Warning: Do not use multiple consecutive <br><br><br> tags to create spacing. Use CSS margin or padding instead.

3. Thematic Dividers: <hr>

In HTML5, <hr> represents a thematic break between paragraph-level elements (e.g., a scene shift in a story or transition between document sections):

<section>
    <h2>Introduction</h2>
    <p>Context and requirements.</p>
</section>
<hr>
<section>
    <h2>Implementation</h2>
    <p>Code and setup.</p>
</section>
