Russia attacks Ukraine's energy infrastructure

More than one million people have been affected by Russia's attack on Ukraine and power cuts in winter.

According to Ukraine's Energy Minister, Ukraine's energy infrastructure has been attacked on a large scale by the enemy, affecting more than 1 million people. Ukrainian President Zelensky shared a post on Telegram saying, "The target of the attack is our energy sector," adding that the attack involved "100 strike drones and more than 90 missiles of various types."

Russia has also used Kalbar missiles as well as cluster munitions against civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. Three missile attacks hit the Kharkiv district of Kyiv.
