On Saturday, North Korean media reported that their country would "always support" Russia's war in Ukraine.
In a meeting with the Russian Defense Minister, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said, "Moscow has the right to fight in self-defense. The use of long-range weapons by Ukraine is the result of direct military intervention by the US."
A military delegation led by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov arrived in North Korea on Friday. After North Korea sent thousands of troops to Russia last month, cooperation between the two countries has increased. However, concerns about this cooperation have also started growing internationally.
According to KCNA, Kim Jong Un said that North Korea will always support the Russian Federation's policy of protecting sovereignty and territorial integrity. Under pressure from the US and Western countries, Kyiv officials have attacked Russia with long-range missiles. And Russia should take action against it. Belousov also met North Korean Defense Minister No Kwang Chol. Speaking during the dinner, Belousov said the strategic partnership between the two countries is vital to protect against aggression and arbitrary actions of the imperialists.
