The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force has commenced the final phase of the Payambar-e-A’azam (The Great Prophet) 19 military exercise in western Iran.
On Thursday, scenarios for rapid response operations were executed, featuring the prompt deployment of troops and equipment to the exercise area.
In conjunction with the heliborne assault, all participating units are fully mobilized and deployed into the exercise area in record time, in full gear, and under the aerial umbrella of the helicopter support provided by the IRGC Ground Force Airborne Division.
In this context, as part of another general exercise conducted near this war game, the Saberin Special Forces conducted a heliborne and SPIE exercise.
The forces were deployed to predetermined areas to practice seizing high ground and enemy supply routes to cut off support lines.
The IRGC Ground Force Airborne Division's Cobra helicopters practiced destroying predetermined targets in another part of the exercise.
The choppers used 70mm Hydra rockets and 20mm cannons to destroy their designated targets.
Addressing the units, the IRGC's chief commander said Iran's armed forces are more prepared than ever to defend the nation's territorial integrity and independence.
Major General Hossein Salami stated that arrogant powers, led by the United States, along with its regional allies and the Zionist regime, have delivered nothing to Muslims except warmongering, divisions, destruction, and backwardness.
The dream is floating in the minds, thoughts, and desires of our enemies. They believe they must burn down the fate, security, and homes of Muslims in order to survive and live in security. In this regard, they do not hesitate to take any action, and even attack nations that have nothing to do with them," he said.
Turning to the recent Israeli strikes on Syria, General Salami denounced the attacks on the defenseless Arab nation and the destruction of its factories, industries, infrastructure, and defense facilities.
“You have seen with your own eyes that if a nation is left defenseless and not powerful and strong, these criminals of history will not give them a reprieve,” he said.
The chief commander of the IRGC articulated that the ideology of arrogant powers lacks logic, justice, or fairness.
He stated, “If they feel a country is weak, they will attack and destroy it, bury its people under rubble, and show no mercy to its infants."
