France warned Donald Trump - warned against endangering the 'sovereign borders' of the European Union.
Newly elected US President Donald Trump refused to rule out military action to take control of Greenland, an autonomous region of European Union member Denmark. After which France warned Donald Trump.
Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said -
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot told France Inter radio, "There is no question of the European Union allowing other countries of the world, no matter who they are, to invade its sovereign borders." He said that although he does not believe the US will "invade" Greenland, "but we have entered an era in which the law of the strongest is returning."
