Speaking with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu every day during the crisis, the president also underlined his continued support for the Israeli leader. In response to a question on his message to Mr. Netanyahu, Mr. Trump told CNN, "I said: Keep going." "He's a good man who accomplishes a lot."
In an apparent allusion to Netanyahu's ongoing legal troubles in Israel, Mr. Trump said that his most recent meeting with the Israeli leader took place on Monday and implied that the leader has been "very unfairly treated by his country."

Iran retaliated with a barrage of drones and missiles, raising concerns about a potential Middle East conflict.
